Genesis 2:9
The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
When Adam and Eve first took a bite of that forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil their consequences exposed them to an interesting fate. It opened their eyes and made them aware of their surroundings their circumstances, and their ill-fated decision.
However through the Holy Spirit if you are blessed with the spiritual gift of knowledge you will also possess an ability of awareness. You will become open to and familiar with truth.  You will be blessed to gain a clearer perspective and given a divine insight on various circumstances and experiences that you would not have been privy to through your own senses or intellect.
The spiritual gift of knowledge is closely linked wisdom which is the next spiritual gift that will be reviewed in this series, but as far as knowledge is concerned it is more closely associated with the act of receiving of divine information and truths. The following scriptures on knowledge all share important messages. I hope that they are helpful to you.
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:22
“How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs 8:10
Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold,
Proverbs 11:9
With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.
Psalm 19:2
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
